Anawilundawa - Wilpattu – Option V - 1 Night

On your way to Wilpatu National Park lies the RAMSAR wetland of Anawilundawa which is a key bird watching site in Sri Lanka. We depart Colombo in the noon in order to arrive at Anawilundawa by late afternoon which is the prime time for bird watching. We take a bird watching walk in Anawilundawa wetlands and then move towards Wilpattu National Park for following day full day safari.

Day 01

Meet with our driver in Colombo

Transfer to Anawilundawa wetlands – 2 hours drive approximately

Bird watching nature trail in Anawilundawa wetlands

Transfer to Wilpattu – 2 hours drive approximately

Dinner and overnight stay at Forest Rock Garden Hotel near Wilpattu

Day 02

Full day safari in Wilpattu National Park from 6 AM to 6 PM with picnic meals

Transfer back to Colombo after the safari – 4 hours drive approximately
